Reaction Paper about the story entitled "Dead Star"


       
             Confusions,heartbreak and love, these are the things that encapsulates the story of dead star. It is beautiful and a typical love story which highlights the confusions on the relationships between three characters. The story is basically a compilation of the complicated circumstances that every man has to go through in life. The account doesn't only focus on the idea of love, but also, it exhibits how one conquers himself by understanding his true feelings.

         
              Even in real life this situations happen. We are given a challenge to test how far we are, how ready we are in facing it, and how strong we are to recover it. I realized that it is hard to fall in love between two people because you are forced to sacrifice everything you've got. A dream that would wish come true, but in reality we must have to follow our hearts to choose the right person for us and not just to depend in just a one symbol. Because we are the one who will create our destiny and not just by a dream or guess. To follow our heart is a great effort that we can give to the person we love. Dead stars symbolize things that are present but are left unspoken of. To love between Alfredo and Julia seemed real, but closer and one can state that it was hardly mutual, and that's impossible to last.

   


          Both similarities and differences entitled "Biag ni Lam-ang" and "Legend of  the Magat River"

             
                 
                In every story there's always a tragic to be happen. The both similarities of the story that we've read entitled "Biag ni Lam-ang" and "Legend of the Magat River" both of them have a strong personalities, brave and most especially they fall in love to a girl once they've in their lives.


                 
                Both main character of a certain story has their own differences. Lam-ang during his childhood years he never been experience how to be came by the presence of his own father. But when time come when he became a strong and know how to handle his self. He decided to go and find his father. We've thought that Lam-ang will died at the end of the story but because of the Divine Intervention Lam-ang has an opportunity to live once again. On the second hand Magat likes to adventure and enjoy life. Then one day he meet a girl and he fall in love but the sad part is because of his curiosity he totally broke his promise to his wife. Then it made the story are not end up in happy ending.

         
               It doesn't mean that even if story is short or an epic one it leads that they have unhappy ending. But the most important is we gain knowledge and learn on how to face the obstacle we encountered by being strong and believe in yourself.

Significance of Philippine LIterature

            The importance of Philippine Literature is it allows people to learn about where they came from and how past events work to shape the different cultures. Through studying literature look at poems, essays, stories it can improve our reading skills and through reading it can enhance your knowledge. It helps people sympathize it others. Through reading it can also encourage students to think critically.

              

            The importance of Philippine Literature is we can learn many things about the persons life, how they struggled, stories and message behind every poem that we read. Philippine Literature it enable us to know our culture; to reflect on the past; and it allow us to travel into different places through your imagination.
